ALUMNI STORY

The Tocal Alumni was created as an initiative of the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the College and in response to the ongoing challenges that the existing Tocal Ex-students Association (TESA) had in gaining new office bearers to replace those who had served for many years. 

The Tocal Alumni is an organisation within the CB Alexander Foundation and its constitution was approved by the Foundation on 1 April 2016. The Constitution provides for a committee with representatives of the CB Alexander Foundation, Friends of Tocal and members of the Alumni. The Alumni concept is taken in the broadest sense including anyone who has an interest in and association with Tocal.    


2015

The first Committee was created from the working party which was formed at the 50th-anniversary celebration event in 2015.


TESA HISTORY

The Tocal Ex-Student Association (TESA) was dissolved in 2015. The replacing group, Tocal College Alumni, recognises the association's passion and legacy for sustaining a Tocal connection and network after studies at the College.

TESA and its committee paved the way for our Tocal Alumni organisation. 

ALUMNI FRAMEWORK

The Tocal Alumni provides:

  • a formal network for students to stay in touch with the College and connect with others to support you on your career journey 
  • a formal network to connect people who have a link with and interest in the College
  • information on training and job opportunities
  • a platform to share the achievements of our graduates
  • a regular e-newsletter to keep you up-to-date on what's happening around the College, including invitations to upcoming events, promotions and activities
